Cloudy and cool for the Hunter today, hot and sunny for the North West and wet and stormy over the border ranges.
There’s been quite a lot of cloud across the broadcast region today. Tomorrow that will be cleared from the Hunter thanks to increased hot north westerly winds that will drive up the mercury matching the North West.
The heat will begin seeping into the north east corner of New South Wales in the coming days, making for a hot weekend.
The afternoon storm development is expected to continue over the northern ranges.
A southerly will drop temperatures for Newcastle on Saturday, helping the city to dodge the extremities once again.
Next week’s rain event for the region is still looking positive.
