A police strike force has been set up following the discovery of a woman’s body at a Gunnedah motel yesterday.
25-year-old Rebecca Perkins was found dead in a room at the Overlander Motel on Conadilly Street, shortly after 9am.
Homicide detectives arrived at the scene late last night, and the strike force – named Neweena – will investigate.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
