Samaritans launched their Christmas appeal today, by putting up a Tree of Hope at their store in Hamilton.
It features messages for those doing it tough this festive season.
“People who donate to us can put special messages on stars, hang them on the tree and on Christmas day we can give them out to people who join us for lunch at Christmas lunch in the park.”
The organisation hopes this year’s appeal will raise $100,000.
