The CEO of the New South Wales Taxi Council says Hunter taxi drivers need to make their service the best it can be, as the industry prepares for new challenges, such as ride sharing apps.
“It’s more about ensuring that we provide good customer service so that people don’t want to use those type of services.”
Mr Wakelin-King visited Newcastle today to meet with more than 100 owners and operators.
