WEATHER UPDATE: HEAT CREEPING BACK IN

The coast and valleys on the eastern side of the divide have enjoyed a cool reprieve ahead of a very hot end to the week.

There has been no break from the heat across the North West plains. The extremely hot air from central Australia will starting creeping further eastward from tomorrow, moving back in across the North West and Upper Hunter.

Friday will be extremely hot before a cooler change delivers some rain late Saturday.

Further north, the hottest day will be on the Saturday, waiting until the change pushes through on the Sunday.
