STONES CANCEL VICTORIA GIG, ONE WEEK OUT FROM HUNTER SHOW
The Rolling Stones have cancelled tomorrow’s concert near Melbourne because Mick Jagger has a throat infection.
The British rock band is due to play in the Hunter Valley next weekend and it’s unknown whether further shows may be affected.
A spokesman for the Stones says Jagger is under strict doctor’s orders to rest so he can recuperate for the rest of the tour.
He added, “The Rolling Stones are incredibly disappointed to cancel the Hanging Rock gig and to disappoint their fans, but were left with no
other option.”
Refunds have been offered to ticket holders.
