CENTRAL COAST MAN DIES IN SURFING ACCIDENT
The Avoca Beach Surf Lifesaving Club is mourning the loss of one of its members, who died while surfing in Western Australia.
51-year-old John Robbins died on Wednesday morning at Surfer’s Point in Prevelly, a popular Margaret River surfing spot.
Club secretary, Kylie Hoben, has described Mr Robbins as a “really nice man” who was “a great member of the club.”
Police haven’t revealed exactly how he died, but it’s been reported he may have been struck by a board.
