Byron Shire Council has honoured its commitment to provide a detailed report on the preferred route for the Butler Street bypass.
The document will detail the completed studies, explaining the positives and negatives surrounding the proposal.
It includes the installation of a new rail crossing to extend Butler Street South, connecting it to the Johnson and Browning street intersection.
The report will be finished early next year.
