ALISON HOMESTEAD REBUILD ON TRACK
The rebuilding of Wyong’s historic Alison Homestead is set to go ahead, with the a local business signing the reconstruction contract today.
The iconic 140-year-old homestead burned down in an arson attack almost three years ago.
Tuggerah contractor, Collaborative Constructions will take on the restoration works.
The historical society says the site will be bigger and better when it re-opens in June next year.
Wyong Council says it’ll be more visitor friendly.
The refurbishment site will also coincide with the 100 year anniversary of the shire’s first settlers next year.
