Newcastle Museum will take visitors back 290 million years with its latest exhibition.
Through hands-on activities and displays, Permian Monsters shows what life was like before the dinosaurs.
“There’s some animatronics so people can actually see them moving and making noises. There’s some amazing skeletons, there’s amazing water life – this is an era where dragonflies were like, huge, I think people will really like it.”
The exhibition will open on Saturday, and run until February.
