Long-day care centres across the New England will have more money to train and educate their staff, thanks to federal government funding.
26 local centres will receive a share of around $1-million – part of a $200-million national package.
Milestones Early Learning Centre in Tamworth’s CBD will receive just under $60,000, while Poppin’s Playhouse and the Janelle Street Centre will get $50,000 each.
The money will be used to cover training-related costs.
