Restricted training and game time will be a thing of the past at Crozier Oval in Lismore.
Today Marist Brothers Rugby League received more than $70,000 from the State Government to help fix up the field’s ongoing problem areas.
The money will enable the club to install a complete irrigation system as well as top field drainage.
“It’s an awesome achievement for the club and both Lismore as a whole and the sporting communities to upgrade our current facilities to have some of the most state of the art field in the local area.”
Work is expected to be complete by pre-season 2015.
