LES NORTON CREATOR DIES IN HIS CENTRAL COAST HOME

Author Robert G Barrett who created the larrikin character Les Norton has died in his Central Coast home after a battle with cancer.
Barrett who was receiving palliative care, died peacefully in his Terrigal home on Thursday night.
Les Norton, a politically incorrect former Kings Cross bouncer, was first introduced to readers in the 1984 book “Wouldn’t be Dead for Quids”.
Robert G Barrett has sold more than a million books. His latest, Still Riding the Storm, is due out later this year.
