The Ronald McDonald House at Gosford Hospital today received a much-needed funding boost from the North Lakes Toukley Rotary Club.
A golf day the Club held last month raised $9,000 for the charity, funds that will be used to cover the cost of food for families for an entire year.
“Community support is what really keeps us going., We’re not funded, so community donations are what help us stock our shelves.”
Last month 840 people stayed at the Gosford house.
