WELCOME TO NSW SIGNS TO OUTSHINE SUNSHINE STATE
The New South Wales government is planning to upstage Queensland, by installing new welcome signs on the border.
The state government today announced funding for the more aesthetically pleasing signs that will be put up to mark the border on the Gold Coast highway.
“It’s welcoming and encouraging people to come here and do business and come here and enjoy our great tourism attractions.”
“Of course we want it better than the Queensland sign, because New South Wales is number one in the state now for business and opportunities.”
Tweed Shire Council will help with the sign’s design.
