A 41-year-old Attunga woman is in a serious condition at Tamworth Hospital, after crashing her car into a power pole at Hallsville, near Tamworth this morning.
Shortly before seven, she was travelling south on Manilla Road when she lost control of the Holden Astra.
She was trapped for an hour and a half before emergency services cut her out of the wreckage.
“It looks like some lower limb injuries and also injuries caused by trap by confinement.”
