Avoca Beach’s Toby Cracknell has taken out the stand up paddle boarding Australian title, despite challenging conditions on the Gold Coast today.
The 19-year-old took an early lead from the start of the men’s open, but was later neck and neck with the Sunshine Coast’s Lincoln Dews.
He managed to snatch the lead with a clean dismount and ran home for the win.
