A southerly burst is going to make sure things remain cool along the coast while triggering a few showers that will remain east of the Divide so inland across the NW it will be dry and mostly sunny for your Friday. On Saturday the scattered shower activity will clear for Newcastle contracting north over the Northern Rivers and SE QLD before clearing, making way for a mostly fine weekend particularly on Sunday as conditions warm back up.
