The long-awaited upgrade of Casino’s Emergency Department is a step closer – with a Ballina-based builder announced as the project’s successful tender.
The federal government followed through with Labor’s promise to put $3-million into the improvements – which include new triage, resuscitation and treatment bays.
Work will begin in the coming weeks.
