WEATHER UPDATE: WILD WEATHER ON THE WAY
Today a large line of storms made its way across New South Wales and southern Queensland. It is the beginning of a wild couple of days of weather, especially for the Central Coast and Newcastle regions.
A huge trough line stretches over eastern and northern Australia. An intense low is going to form on this line. During Tuesday the winds will increase and so to the rain as we move into the evening, continuing to build into Wednesday. The hardest hit areas appear to be in between the Illawarra and Forster.
The east coast low will produce large, dangerous seas and heavy rain with flash flooding likely. Winds will become strong enough to be damage-causing. The system will clear by Thursday, until then, things will be unsettled with widespread storm development expected tomorrow.
