An elderly returned servicewoman has been robbed of her savings, following an aggravated break and enter on the mid north coast.
At around 5pm yesterday, the 89-year-old was watering her garden, when a man broke into her home on Lachlan Street, South Kempsey.
She saw him run from her house with her handbag, which contained thousands of dollars she’d saved for a holiday with her son.
The bag is described as a distinct material bag, with floral patterns and beads on the outside.
