Two sculptures in Port Macquarie are under repair,
after vandals removed them from their concrete slabs on Friday night.
Located at Town Green, The Hello Koala works were secured with industrial-strength resin in late September.
Project Manager, Linda Hall, says the incident has left many upset.
“The disappointment obviously is that the public has been without these sculptures for the weekend and we had a lot of disappointed visitors and locals yesterday when they discovered what had happened”
The fibreglass sculptures will be reinstalled on Monday.
