WEATHER UPDATE: SOUTHERLY CHANGE

A southerly change has been working its way up the New South Wales coast today, arriving in Newcastle at 1pm. It has cooled things slightly for the coastal fringe but will produce very little in the way of wet weather.
Tonight the change will continue moving north, arriving on the Gold Coast tomorrow. From the eastern slopes of the Great Divide to the beaches, there will be some patchy shower activity during the day with partly cloudy skies. The change is not strong enough to clear the heat inland so the North West will remain very warm to hot and dry.
There’s a better system headed our way which should produce better rain over the weekend.
