TWO MUSWELLBROOK PROJECTS APPROVED

The Joint Regional Planning Panel today gave the green light to two major projects in the Upper Hunter.
The first, a 65-bed aged care facility for Muswellbrook, which will help relieve a chronic shortage in the town.
Worth $19.2-million, the Calvary project also includes 42 independent living units.
Meanwhile, a tertiary education centre specialising in mine engineering, was also given the go-ahead.
To be built on Bridge Street, it’s a joint initiative between council, TAFE and the University of Southern Queensland.
