An east coast low continues to make its presence felt in New South Wales tonight – lashing parts of the state with strong winds, big seas and heavy rain.
As the system gathered strength late yesterday, flash flooding sparked several rescues in Newcastle, with people trapped inside a public bus and on top of a car.
