SNODGRASS INQUEST FINALISED
A Coroner has determined that there isn’t enough evidence to charge anyone over the death of Coffs Harbour man Scott Snodgrass.
The 34-year-old died after his head hit the footpath during a fight with another man near a taxi rank in the CBD in May last year.
“It’s a tragic death of a very good man in circumstances that were alcohol fuelled and the matter is now closed.” Det Insp Darren Jameson.
Mr Snodgrass left behind a wife and four young children.
“We have passed on our sincere regret regarding the circumstances that led to his death but this matter has been fully investigated.”
Investigations will continue into a possible breach of the Liquor Act by a Coffs Harbour hotel.
