$10.8 MILLION FOR GRAINS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

The federal and state governments have announced $10.8 million in funding for grains research and development in New South Wales.
18 new research officer positions will be created throughout the state, some will be based at Tamworth and Narrabri.
The additional officers will take on projects that require further research.
The New South Wales grains industry contributes more than $3 billion to the state’s economy each year.
