Maclean has become part of the nationwide network of towns catering for recreational vehicles.
The Clarence Valley Council says RV travellers spend money on meals, groceries, souvenirs and services.
General Manager Scott Greensill said,”We’ve now got the facilities in place and any Rvs that come and stay at the Maclean showgrounds, there are dumping points, potable water as well as parking close to the main CBD of the town for access.”
He says showground visitors will have to relocate nearby for major events like the Highland Festival.
