WOMAN INJURED IN PACIFIC HIGHWAY CRASH

A 56-year-old woman was transported to Manning Base Hospital with chest injuries this morning, following a crash on the Pacific Highway at Nabiac.
The woman was following her husband’s tractor when a B-double slammed into her ute from behind.
She was pinned against the steering wheel for a short time, while the SES worked to free her.
The driver of the tractor and truck escaped uninjured.
