Tamworth Westpac Rescue Helicopter’s new business team leader, Lisa Thomas, is now a week into her new role, and says she’s been pleasantly surprised by the support the service receives.
“I think it’s because it’s non profit and they’ve got such a great reputation in the local community, but the main thing is, it’s very purposeful. What they do is they help save lives.”
Ms Thomas is tasked with liaising with local businesses, and securing financial backing for the vital operation.
