FOOTY RAISES AWARENESS FOR BRAIN CANCER

A group of families affected by brain cancer released grey balloons at the Knights game at Hunter Stadium today, in support of the Mark Hughes Foundation.

Kirsti and Scott Rickard lost their father to brain cancer in January this year.

“We’re here so more people can know about it, we can raise funds, try and get a cure and make more people aware.”

The Foundation was formed this year, following Mark’s diagnosis with brain cancer in 2013.

” Every cent raised will go towards the Mark Hughes foundation, which will go towards our efforts with research, we’re doing a lot of work with HMRI and it’s very exciting to see so much support.”
