Two drivers have been lucky to escape serious injury following a collision at Moore Creek this morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Moore Creek Road and Browns Lane at around 11.30.
Police allege a 49-year-old female learner driver entered the path of an oncoming Toyota Hilux, while turning onto Moore Creek Road.
The woman was trapped in the Mitsubishi Pajero for 50 minutes, while the 29-year-old male driver of the Hilux suffered minor injuries.
Both drivers were conveyed to Tamworth Hospital in a stable condition.
