Admission fees will be slashed by 40 per cent at Beresfield Pool, to make the Newcastle Council facility more affordable for those living nearby.
“It was cheaper to go to Maitland, to go to a private pool at Raymond Terrace but now the Beresfield community will actually be able to use this asset.”
Councillors approved the fee reduction last night.
