Police are searching for a 42-year-old man involved in a stabbing in Port Macquarie on Sunday morning.
At around 11, two men allegedly confronted a 27-year-old man at a unit on Hollingsworth Street.
It’s believed the man tried to arm himself with a metal bar, but was overpowered, and then stabbed in the forehead and nose.
He was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital and discharged that afternoon.
A 39-year-old man has been charged with numerous offences including inflicting grievous bodily harm by wounding.
