GAV’S WEATHER | POLAR AIR WILL CONTINUE TO BLAST STATE TOMORROW

The next surge of polar air is closing in on the south-east tonight, as a cold snap brings with it a cool end to autumn.
Tomorrow the strongest of the fronts will sweep across the south-east, with Victoria and Tasmania set to be hammered by more strong winds and icy cold temperatures.
More snow will fall on the Alpine districts and southern New South Wales ranges.
Despite the icy chill, the day’s are relatively cool and calm across most of the country.
Locally, the hunter will remain dry, mostly sunny but much cooler now that the chills of winter have moved in.
