The 2013 Gold Coast Marathon was last night announced as the Queensland Sporting Event of the Year.
Adam Scott received the Sport Star of the Year Award for his historic Masters victory – making him the first golfer to receive QSports’ top honour .
It caps off a stellar year for the Gold Coast athlete, who just last month received the Don award.
