FLYING FOX NETTING PROGRAM EXTENDED TO ALL PRIMARY PRODUCERS IN NSW
A netting program aimed at reducing the impact of flying foxes on crops has been extended to all primary producers across the state.
Farmers can apply for a slice of the $4-million funding through the Rural Assistance Authority.
The money can be used for both throw netting and fully secured netting.
“There is limited funding, it’s only a $4-million pool of money and applicants will be limited to accessing $20, 000 per producer, that will need to be matched dollar for dollar.”
