Fire permits have been suspended in the Hastings and the Manning, as dry conditions continue.
It comes less than a week after the RFS declared an early start to the Bushfire Danger Period.
There is no cut off date for the ban and the RFS says it will only revoke it if the area gets a substantial amount of rain.
Anyone caught lighting a fire without a permit could be fined or face imprisonment.
