TENDERS CALLED FOR ALISON HOMESTEAD REBUILD
Alison Homestead is set to rise from the ashes, with Wyong Shire Council calling for tenders to rebuild the historic residence.
The 140-year-old building was destroyed by fire in 2011.
Earlier this year, council unveiled plans to reconstruct the once grand manor, but ongoing insurance claims delayed the project.
Tenders will close next week, with the winner likely to be announced late September.
It’s hoped construction will begin later in the year.
