At a recent crime prevention meeting, Tamworth police reported the success of their Eye Watch Facebook page.
Acting Mayor Russell Webb says the page, which has more than 11,000 likes, has helped solve crime.
“Individually we’re using it more often than I could ever have imagined and yes I think into the future social media will play a very big part of solving crime.”
