Here’s a great lesson in perseverance – for 20 years a Port Macquarie man has been playing the same lottery numbers three times a week.
Today he walked into his local newsagency, none the wiser it’s been on the hunt for a mystery millionaire.
“Yeah just speechless. He didn’t believe us at first, it took us a while to convince him. We had to get the numbers and go through it about four to five times to let it sink in it was definitely him,” commented Plaza Newsagency owner Chris Genders.
The unregistered division one ticket netted its owner a cool one million dollars and was sold at the Plaza Newsagency last Wednesday.
Not surprisingly, the business has been experiencing a flurry of activity as word has spread around town.
