Wamberal track and field star Georgia Wassall has taken out the bronze medal in the 800 metres finals at the IAAF World Junior Championships in the US.
Wassall came out on top of a duel with her compatriot Georgia Griffith, and stopped the clock at two minutes and two seconds.
She’s a former student of Central Coast Grammar School.
