MARINERS SIGN MANE MAN
The Central Coast Mariners continue to build their squad ahead of the A-League season signing Senegalese striker Malick Mane.
The 25-year-old joins the Mariners from top flight Swedish club IFK Goteburg. He’s previously played in Norway and Kazakhstan.
Mane is seen as a possible replacement for Bernie Ibini who left the Mariners to link up with former coach Graham Arnold.
“My attributes are that I work hard for the team, and try and do
everything for the team – especially scoring goals,” said
Mane, who’s been capped once for Senegal.
“(Alessandro) Del Piero played in Australia, so I am happy to
play my football there.”
He’ll arrive in Australia before the end of the month.
