A Group 3 charity game in Taree has exceeded expectations, raising more than $12,500 so far.
The inaugural Kristylea Bridge Cup between the Bulls and Tigers at the weekend was fundraising for local organisation Can Assist.
It helps support Manning Valley residents suffering cancer.
Organisers of the charity game are expecting the final figure to top $15,000, with more funds to be collected from businesses and sponsors in the coming days.
