LANCE CORPORAL TODD CHIDGEY FAREWELLED IN CENTRAL COAST SERVICE

Lance Corporal Todd Chidgey has been farewelled at a service on the Central Coast.
Colleagues from Sydney’s Second Commando Regiment helped carry his coffin into the chapel.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott was among the mourners.
Lance Corporal Chidgey died while serving in Afghanistan – he was 29.
His Commanding Officer today described him as ‘the kind of person who would do anything for his mates’.
