WILLOW TREE TO MOVE TO LEVEL TWO WATER RESTRICTIONS

Residents in Willow Tree will no longer be able to use sprinklers as the town moves to level two water restrictions.
Despite cooler weather, a report to Liverpool Plains Shire Council shows a gradual decrease in the town’s supply.
Hand held hoses can now only be used for two hours a day.
The report also shows that since the Caroona Bore was built in 1979, ground water levels for the Caroona supply have lowered substantially from 10 metres to about 23 metres.
