Central Australia has been so sunny that a bit of warmth has built up. That will be flushed out ahead of the next big polar blast set to move through on the weekend. Friday will be very nice and Saturday will get off to comfortable start as well.
From there gale force winds will return to the Hunter and the temperatures will plummet. Snow flurries may occur across the northern ranges and Barringtons Saturday night into Sunday. It is then the winds will peak making for a very cold start to next.
