Some of the Gold Coast’s finest athletes were today given a boost heading into next month’s Commonwealth Games.
Each Queensland Academy of Sport squad member heading to Glasgow was presented with a grant of more than $2,000.
Among them, Miami swimmers Thomas Fraser-Holmes, Jordan Harrison and Matt Levings.
With just 28 days until the Glasgow games, the money will help to put the finishing touches on their preparations.
