Coffs Harbour Suns Women remain undefeated after beating second placed Newcastle 63 to 54 in the Waratah State league, while in the Men’s, the Hunters defeated the Suns 79 to 75.
The Suns women led 27-10 after the first quarter but the Hunters narrowed the lead when Sun star Bonnie Kuchel suffered a head injury.
Her team still clinching victory with a 9 point winning margin.
The Suns Men were just five points short of winning their game against the Hunters.
