Reigning champion Urunga FC has crashed out of the quarter finals of the Northern NSW football state cup.
The side was given a 5 to 2 goal thumping by Newcastle’s South Cardiff.
South Cardiff was leading in the first half, before Urunga scored a cracking free kick to get them back in the game.
Cardiff went on to score three goals in the second half with Urunga managing a late consolation.
